One definition of success on the Internet is an event <br />
that accomplishes it's intended purpose. When it comes <br />
to Internet marketing success most people measure it in <br />
monetary terms, but in reality, you can be successful <br />
online without ever making a lot of money. In this article <br />
let's take a look at a few things that go in to creating <br />
your success. <br />

To have true success you really need to lead a balanced <br />
life in these five areas. <br />
<br />
1. Spiritual <br />
2. Family <br />
3. Business/Career <br />
4. Recreation <br />
5. Physical Fitness <br />
<br />
A problem that most of us face every day is how to balance <br />
these five areas of our life. We list them in that order <br />
for a reason because this should be the order of importance <br />
to you. What tends to happen is people strive to achieve <br />
what they feel success is and put more emphasis on their <br />
business or career aspect of their life. <br />
<br />
We have all heard about goal setting, and things like <br />
writing your goals down, and cutting out pictures and <br />
posting them where they can be seen. So what happens is <br />
people put pictures of exotic vacations, a new car, a <br />
college education for their kids, and new house, and <br />
these sort of things on their refrigerator or above <br />
their computer. <br />
<br />
Some people have personal goals to help other people <br />
financially, in terms of donations and charitable work. <br />
These goals are important, but almost everyone of them <br />
involves making more money. So what happens is, you begin <br />
to work longer hours, work more days in a week, and begin <br />
to neglect other areas of your life. <br />
<br />
Can you really be successful, if you don't take a little <br />
time off to enjoy your success. Even night out at the <br />
movies can be recreation and go along way towards <br />
recharging your battery for another round of work. <br />
Truly successful people, get out and walk, they work <br />
out, they join a club and get on the treadmill or the <br />
exercise bike, etc. <br />
<br />
Probably the saddest thing you see it happen is how people <br />
striving for success neglect their family. It is easy to <br />
do when you are working 70 hours a week and you can not <br />
make it to your son's game or your daughter's play. <br />
<br />
In summary, your definition of success may be different <br />
than the person sitting next to you at work. It may be <br />
different than the person who is doing Internet marketing <br />
tonight at the same time as you. No matter what your <br />
definition of success is I would just encourage you <br />
to lead a balanced life, and strive for true happiness <br />
beyond just making money. <br />
