Hitting Your Target in Niche Marketing - by Jason Pearson<br />

If you are targeting a certain arena for your product, <br />
you must be able to find them and they must be able to <br />
find you. It does no one much good to provide quality <br />
product that you cannot get to the people who can use <br />
it most. One of the nice things about Niche marketing <br />
is the luxury of building a business around your favorite <br />
hobby, occupation, or expertise. <br />
<br />
If you are expanding an off-line business by setting up <br />
a webpage you would be wise to look in your own store <br />
for valuable contacts. By making some brochures that <br />
announce your online presence you can begin to build <br />
a good sized contact list. <br />
<br />
By using your website to inform contacts about your product <br />
and build a contact list for your newsletter you can spread <br />
the news about specials, or new product with no postage <br />
costs. You can save money and time by not having to waste <br />
precious time stuffing envelopes. <br />
<br />
By having a place on your website to 'tell a friend' you <br />
can expand your subscriber list. Your visitors can enter <br />
their own email address and name as the sender of the <br />
message to avoid spam complaints. You will want to make <br />
sure you do not email invitees unless they sign up <br />
personally. You do not want to harass potential clients. <br />
<br />
Niche sites can really benefit from newsletters. By <br />
creating a small free gift for first time subscribers <br />
you will find yourself endeared to the reader. If your <br />
free gift is a how to manual, or special report on your <br />
related topic you will gain the trust of subscribers. If <br />
you contact them often, try for once a week, you will keep <br />
your website in the forefronts of their minds. <br />
<br />
Write articles that will pet you in the seat of industry <br />
expert. If writing is not your strong suit consider hiring <br />
a ghostwriter to pen the articles for you. By ending the <br />
article with your name, a little something about your <br />
website and a link to the website you will be getting <br />
the most valuable information to the reader. Make sure <br />
to submit your articles to relevant websites, where your <br />
target audience is sure to look. <br />

You can find discussion groups that have to do with your <br />
market subject. By involving yourself into the discussion <br />
and attaching your signature with your website address <br />
you will be advertising your business at no cost to you. <br />
You will be able to set yourself up as an expert in your <br />
field and give away your free item if the situation arises. <br />
<br />
By determining your Niche target audience you can narrow <br />
down you advertising to the relevant areas. By knowing <br />
your niche is pet owners, or parents, or teens you can <br />
know where and how to advertise to those selected areas. <br />
Keep your eyes open, and always look for new opportunities <br />
to spread the word of your product. You will be rewarded <br />
by your niche audience in no time. <br />
