It is human nature to tell people about things we like. <br />
Whether it's a good movie, or a product we have saved <br />
money on, we like to tell people because by nature we <br />
are all helpful creatures.<br />

Did you know you can take this simple philosophy and make <br />
a lot of money with it as an affiliate marketer?<br />
<br />
Recommending products is the best way to sell something. <br />
The best way to find products to recommend is to join <br />
affiliate marketing programs.<br />
<br />
One key element of product recommendations is trust. If <br />
people trust you they are more likely to act upon your <br />
recommendation. The way to build this trust is to enhance <br />
your own credibility.<br />
<br />
One important aspect of this strategy is to also mention <br />
things you don't like about a product. This actually makes <br />
your recommendations seem more believable, and even enhances <br />
your credibility more than if you focus 100 percent on <br />
positives.<br />
<br />
In affiliate marketing the way to learn about products is <br />
to actually purchase them yourself. Then when you write a <br />
recommendation you are able to do it from a position of <br />
experience as opposed to just reading other people's <br />
recommendations.<br />
<br />
When you find a product you like you're going to want to <br />
talk about all the features of it. When you can take features, <br />
and expound upon them and turn those into benefits to your <br />
prospect, your sales will increase.<br />
<br />
Features, advantages and benefits are what helps sell a <br />
product. This is also an easy way to write a product <br />
recommendation.<br />
<br />
Features are what a product has. Advantages are what the <br />
product offers. Benefits are what the product does specifically <br />
for your potential customer.<br />
<br />
As an affiliate marketer you get paid to perform a specific <br />
action. We've been talking about selling products and making <br />
money through product recommendations.<br />
<br />
This is a profitable form of affiliate marketing. The way <br />
to sell more products is to become known as an expert in <br />
the niche you are in.<br />
<br />
You do this through various forms of Internet marketing such <br />
as article marketing, blogging, and video market. Email <br />
marketing is another very good way to establish yourself <br />
as an expert in a niche while building trust at the same time.<br />
<br />
One advantage to telling it like it is when you give a <br />
product recommendation is you can avoid hype. So many <br />
times on the Internet today we see sales letters that <br />
have copy written to the extent that it's almost unbelievable.<br />
<br />
When you are just telling somebody about something you do <br />
not need to hype it. The same thing is true when you're <br />
doing affiliate marketing and making sales through product <br />
recommendations. Just tell it like it is based on what you <br />
personally know.<br />
